(0.65)(28) (0.35)(28) Help me solve this using DISTRIBUTION!

Make sure you use distribution... I don't get how to solve it. The answer is supposed to be 28, but that isn't what I got.

(0.65)(28) + (0.35)(28)
= (28)(0.65 + 0.35)
= (28)(1)
= 28

Greetings,

0.65*28 + 0.35*28
= (0.65 + 0.35)*28, factoring/distributing 28 over the sum
= 1*28
= 28
