If the car is going in the same direction, it is 15 km/hr and in opposite direction, it is 25 km/hr.
Why? Just think of the positions of you and car after 1 hr, 2 hrs, 3hrs,....

since you are walking 5km/h and the car is driving 20km/h it would seem as though the car is traveling 15km/h. Everything is relative!

It is mentally obvious that is is 25

20+5 =25

If you are going opposite ways then you add. Same way you subtract.

well since you're already moving at 5, if a car passes you by at 20, then the difference will be what you perceive the cars speed to be, that is, 20 - 5 = 15 km/h
