what message does harry potter convey?

What I think is that the message of Harry Potter is Justice / Love conquers Evil, because Voldemort killed many innocent people and hated everyone. He didn't believe in anyone and he only cared about himself. He didn't understand love. In the other hand, Harry was loved by his friends and he cared about the others. That's why Voldemort couldn't defeat him and Voldemort killed himself by a strike back of spell. It also conveys that your choices will make yourself. For example, Harry could have been a wicked Slytherin student like Malfoy, as the Sorting Hat told him, but he chose to be a brave Gryffindor and he chose to fight against Voldemort. That's what I think about the messages Harry Potter convey.
