Talent shows(才藝表演)

I suggest to hold a talent show for junior students. There are three main advantages. Firstly, all students can participate because we have no limitation on the type of shows they have to perform, so even some less active students can join together and sing a song or play a drama. In this case we can have everyone involved and enjoy the activity. Secondly with this show we can provide a platform for the students to perform their talent, which they may not have chance to do in the normal activity. Lastly, I think the school would also like to see how talented their students are. May be some of them can be picked for participating some inter-school competition.
To organize this talent show we need to set up an organizing committee and invite some teachers to be our advisor. They should also be the judges of the show. I suggest that we have a meeting for all senior students to select around 10 students as the organizing committee. Then among themselves they can select a chairman to hold the committee. As for the teachers I suggest to have our Principal Mrs. Smith, our music teacher Miss Lee, our art teacher Mrs. Wong, our PE teacher Mr. Chan and our Girl Guider Miss Au. These teachers should be able to judge who is the best in the talent show.
I suggest we only have one prize for the best performer. For all others we will give them some souvenirs as reward. In this case we can really make it an enjoyable activity for all junior students, instead of competition.
Hopefully you can consider my suggestion since this is for the benefit of all the students.
