same day.Find

(a) the total time for which the car is parked,
4:30p.m = 16:30
Total time
= 16 hours 30 minutes - 7 hours 45 minutes
= 15 hours (60+30) minutes - 7 hours 45 minutes
= 8 hours 45 minutes

(b) the parking fee if the rate of charges is $12.5 for the first hour and
$5 for each half hour or part of a half hour thereof
Parking fee
= $12.5 + $5x8
= $52.5

1.(3×4)×250/100²
=3500/10000
=35/100
=7/20m²
2(a)16:30-07:45
=16.5-7.75
=8.75
=8hours45minutes
(b)$12.5+$10×7+$10
