1. If a figure has five sides of equal length, can we conclude that it is a
regular pentagon? Explain your answer briefly with an example.

2. Explain why six identical equilateral triangles can form a regular hexagon.

(1)Besides the five equal sides , a regular pentagon has equal interior angles (108)(2) The sum of the angles of a regular n-gon is 180(n-2) degrees.The sum of the angles of a regular hexagon is 720 , with six equal interior angles (120)

The sum of the angles of each of these triangles is 180 .The angles of an identical equilateral triangle is 60.
