in general, bank charges will be levied by 3 parties. 1) the remitting bank; 2) the corresponding bank, if involved; 3) the receiving bank. There may be corresponding bank if remitting bank and receiving bank has no business relationship, particularly the remitting bank has no branch in the country of receiver. They all do some admin works for the remittance, so have to get service fee, i.e. bank charge. There is no standard on bank charge. It is subject to bank's rate. It is around HK$150 to HK$200 usually, excluding the charge of corresponding bank.
