Learning English is immensely of use.After we learn that,we have courage and confidence to converse with foreigners.Other than that,it can indeed increase the opportunities of finding good occupations.We don't need to be solicitous about our prospects.Furthermore,if we learn English,we can read English newspapers and magazines to realize the incidents in the globe,not just rely on reading Chinese newspapers.Most importantly,English is an international language which everyone must learn it.As a matter of fact,I don't suppose that English has any demerits!

Swimming is my favourite sport as I can relax myself from enduring the stress.I can absolutely progress in my study because of swimming.It don't cost to much.Therefore,not only the rich can participate.I can attend it too!

Advantages of learning English:
1. you can communicate with others as English is an international language used worldwidely.

2. Leanring a kind of langauge is to learn how to present yourslef, like your feelings, your interest, your thoughts.......etc.
It's because you cant express yourself without words.

3. English is always the widely used langauge in the world. For example, you can read some famous books which will only be translated in Eng.
And many of the websites in the world are also published in Eng.

4. Learning a language can train your way of thinking, like logical thinking, as there are different rules for using Eng. Your mind is then be trained too!!

5. Learning Eng is the same as learning a country's culture. You have a chance to understand one's culture deeply by studying it.

6. Nevertheless, both good written and spoken english are good for your career path too!!! As it shows your ability for certain posts.

Disadvantages:
1. It takes time to learn a language. So it is hard to study more than two languages at the same time. You must have good time management.

2. The place you learn your eng may have different outcome. For example, HKers would like to translate Eng directly from Chinese, that's why we have Chi-lish. That is not the poper Eng.

3. You need to find ways to practice your Eng too. And it is quite troublesome.
That 's the problem I encountered at the very begning in learning English too.

Advantages :
1. Learn to communicate worldwide.
2. For your own good.
3. If you wanted to get a good job.
4. When writing a letter of application, it must be written in English(good english)

Disadvantages:
1. Sorry, there is no disadvantages in learning any foreign language(s).




I like swimming because it is the best choice of sports in the hot summer, also it is much more relaxing and refreshing than in other sports( soccer, basketball, volleyball....etc. ).
