There were once two bothers called Orville and Wilbur Wright.They were very interested in flying.They often flew.They wished that one day people would fly too.
When the boys grew up,they did not forget their wish.They read all about flying.With their knowledge,they built an aeroplane.
They took the aeroplane to a place called Kitty Hawk where the winds were strong.There,they tested their first aeroplane.It worked!The plane flew 37 metres and was in the air for 12 seconds.So,in December 1903,Orville Wright became the first man to fly.
The Wright brothers continued building better aeroplanes.After they died,other people carried on their work and built better planes .Today,we can fly to any part of the world because of the Wright brothers
