At 1428 hrs on 12 May 2008 , there was a 7.8-magnitude earthquake at Wenchuan of Sichuan province. This disaster came suddenly and unexpectedly, taking away the lives of large numbers of people. From TV news, pictures of post-disaster condition can be seen one by one. I was especially touched by one of them --- a girl firmly gripped a pencil in her hand. This indicates that she loves reading very much. Today, it has already been several months since the disaster. Although the victims' homes were destroyed, they have to work harder than before to live on. The reason is there are still some enthusiastic people lending their helping hands to these victims, who will definitely get over the experience.
