x/a + y/b = 1
where a is the x-intercept and b is the y-intercept

0.75x-y = 3
y = 0.75x - 3

3x-4y=12
3x-4y-12=0
y intercept = -C/B=-(12) / -4 = 3

x intercept = -C/A = -12/3 = -4

The Intercept form is
3x/12 - 4y/12 = 12/12
x/4 - y/3 = 1.
