Lakehead is a really good university. You will enjoy you time there.

Personal I don't go to Lakehead, so I will just tell you something in general.

You should first find out what courses are required for first year. You may want to take some of those required courses first; this is what most students chose to do. This could also allow you to see is that the program really the right one for you. Since most first years will take the same courses, it will be easy for you to find friends to do assignments with.

After that if there are room for another course, you may want to take some easy course. Otherwise, take some courses that you will like or you interested in.
If you know anyone there, ask them did they ever take some of the courses before and what did they think about it.

Remember that you don't have to take five courses (or whatever that is the maximum). You could always start with the maximum number of courses and then drop the courses you hate later. But, don't wait till too late.

Hope it help.

Depend how many unit you take and part time or full time student? If part time is much easier, if full time you need to get the class schedule, and try to arrange it yourself. Hard to tell you which way is the best. If you want to be easy, take little less class!

A will-be university student in Canada! He wants to have a(n) easy begin(n)ing!
His written English is full of errors.
If his spoken English is about the same, what future can one expect of him?
