我想問點樣提升自己的英文能力(閱讀理解)

I always read books. Of coz it is really very hard at the very beginning as you may come across lots of new vocab.

So I would suggest you to choose a book that you are interested in, then set a time limit for yourself to read it. Maybe you can choose to read newspaper too, it's up to you.

Although some people said that it is no good to check all the meaning from dictionay, and it is not a proper way to do so, to me, the answer is totally differetn. Why?

The causes that you dont understand the passages are mainly as below:
1. you dont understand the sentence sturcture.
2. you dont even know the words
3. you dont quite catch the idea of the writer

To tackle the problem, at the very begining of my practice, I will wrtie down some useful words in my notebook. And i read the books or the passages for few days, until i recite all the meaning of them. you may find it crazy , however, if you cant rememeber the words, there is no use to read thousands of passages, meet thousands of words again and again, however, you dont know what it means.

So try today!!!
I recommand you to read the book, "5 people in the heaven", "Daddy long legs", as they are not too difficult and I am sure you can learn something from them.

You should read more English story-books but chosing the right levels of yourself or you will feel so bored.Secondly you should try to know more English words.
