it is very easy to gain the certificate if you can find a good coach. About 2 to 3 months will do. And unlike Bronze Award(銅章), Pool lifeguard Award (泳池救生章) is less hard in terms of physical fitness. It is more on the technique of using different equipments.

The course they offer is very cheap, around $2000 including the exam fee and their coaches are very good. If you are interested, you can send me an email: [email protected]
The course has actually opened, but you shall be able to catch up the progress. So, be hurry!
