1). Before dispose broken harddisk you have to take the disk out of the machine, unscrew the covers and scratch / bend the disks. Each hard disk can contain several plates, each site of which need to be destroyed.

Even when delete from the recycle bin, all that happens is that the first character of the filename is erased. Using Disk destruction software such as (Disk Data Destruction Software 3.0.1.5) to overwrite the whole disk so that all data is removed.
