✔ 最佳答案
A rendezvous with you is such a precious thing
We hate to say goodbye every time we meet
The warm summer breeze has died down
Flowers once in full bloom have also withered
But my love for you will last on and on
Like the endless silk from the caterpillar
And the dripping wax from the candle
That won't cease until it dies or burns itself out
When I look into the mirror at the crack of dawn
What was once dark shiny hair has lost its charm
How sad it is
When you are reciting poems under the moon deep in the night
Take care of yourself and don't catch a cold
ShangriLa is just a stone's throw from here
I will send my humming bird to keep watching over you
.....................................
rendezvous = 約會 (原是法文, 給借用到英語詞彙中)
in full bloom (idiom成語) = 花朵盛放

at the crack of dawn (idiom) = 大清早
ShangriLa = 幻想中的世外桃源、人間樂園 (即我們所說的「逢萊仙境」)
a stone's throw (idiom) = a very short distance away 距離不遠
humming bird = 蜂鳥
watch over (phrasal verb 動詞片語) = 看守、守護

But my love for you will last on and on 原文字面上是沒有的, 但其實正含此意, 英文加上這句令意思清楚合理得多。
‘青鳥’我不知是什麼, 又不想照字面譯(根本不知有沒有green bird 這東西), 只好用 humming bird (a small bird whose wings beat very fast & who makes a humming noise)代替。
