rendezvous = 約會 (原是法文, 給借用到英語詞彙中)

in full bloom (idiom成語) = 花朵盛放

withered = 凋謝

at the crack of dawn (idiom) = 大清早

ShangriLa = 幻想中的世外桃源、人間樂園 (即我們所說的「逢萊仙境」)

a stone's throw (idiom) = a very short distance away 距離不遠

humming bird = 蜂鳥

watch over (phrasal verb 動詞片語) = 看守、守護

But my love for you will last on and on 原文字面上是沒有的, 但其實正含此意, 英文加上這句令意思清楚合理得多。

‘青鳥’我不知是什麼, 又不想照字面譯(根本不知有沒有green bird 這東西), 只好用 humming bird (a small bird whose wings beat very fast & who makes a humming noise)代替。
