Best of Kobe Beef: Oh-I Restaurant
Founded in 1885, Oh-I is one of Kobe's fanciest and most exquisite restaurants. While all brands of Kobe beef are known for their fine quality, those produced in Tajima area is considered the best for the strict control of the blood lineage of the beef cows, month-watering glowing red colour, and the nice balance of meat and fat. While the beef can be grilled on charcoal, the Japanese believe that cooking the Kobe beef in a "shabu-shabu" style, that is to blanch it in a sweet soysauce hotpot, is the best way to enjoy it as the tender meat melts in you month and gives you sensational dining experience.
Mont Dor Italian Restaurant
Mont Dor, slightly opposite to RECEIPE, is a small hut serving pizzas and pastas. The small restaurant has only 4 tables and 3 more seats by the counter. Diners may have to wait for a while for a table. When the afternoon sun penetrates the white laced curtain to form mottled shadows like flower pedals on the green table cloths, the pastas served with rich creamy sauce is a treat to your sense of smell and is definitely irresistable.
