Do love and hate always go hand in hand?

Dateline NBC, Primetime crime and 48 hour mystery are full of stories of men killing or plotting to kill their wives or girlfriends. And these women are the very people that these men supposedly loved and cherished. Is a woman more likely to be murdered or seriously hurt by her significant other than by a perfect stranger because of the intensity of the emotions involved?

Real love does not go hand and hand with hate... but obsessive needy kind of love does.

I would say that if a man hurts the women he loves maybe he was never taught what love truely is or what to do when you love someone...most of the stories you hear the man had a horrible past or upbringing I think that has alot to do with how a person handles love! If you love someone you should never hurt them that way!

Love is a very strong emotion so you should know a person well before you enter into a relationship with them. Love can spark jealousy in some insecure people and jealousy can spark violence. I hope it doesn't happen to you.
