Can someone help me with this tricky math question?

This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem so don't say that a bus has no legs. There is no bus driver.

There are 7 girls in a bus.

Each girl has 7 backpacks.

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.

For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Ha ha this came up in an e-mail one time that i got lol.

7 Small cats = 7 * 4 = 28
1 Big cat = 28 + 4 = 32
7 Big cats = 32 * 7 = 224
1 Bag = 224
7 Bags = 224 * 7 = 1568
1 Girl = 1568 + 2 = 1570
7 Girls = 1570 * 7 = 10990

10990 is the answer.

There are 14 legs in the bus.

7 x 2 + 7 x 7 x 7 x 4 + 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 x 4
= 14 + 1372 + 9604
= 1386 + 9604
= 10990 legs

7 girls = 7 * 2 = 14 legs.

7 big cats in 1 backpack.
1 girl has 7 backpacks.
Therefore, 49 big cats with 1 girl.
49 * 7 = 343 big cats altogether = 343 * 4 = 1372 legs.

343 * 7 small cats altogether = 2401 small cats = 9604 legs.

Therefore, total no. of legs = 14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10990 legs.

I hope that helps. :)

So there are 14 legs of the girls.
And there are 49 big cats which have 4 legs each, so there's 196 legs of the big cats.
And there are 343 little cats which have 4 legs each, so there's 1372 legs of the little cats.
So adding them, there's a total of 1582 legs.

10, 976 legs. not sure.

14+28+196 = 238

There are 7 girls each with 2 legs
Backpacks don't have legs
There are 28 legs of big cats (7*4)
There are 196 legs of small cats (7*7*4)

(49+7)(4)+(2)(7) legs assuming only those girls are in the bus ( not even the driver!!!
