我們在印度夫婦的家中作客。為了隆重其事,我們在前幾天已開始商討衣著和餐桌禮儀問題。衣著方面,坦胸露臂的不能接受〈其實沒有這類衣服〉,長袖上衣和長褲是「穩陣」之選,但可以穿拖鞋嗎?餐桌禮儀方面,如蓆地而坐,是否有特別的姿勢?有餐具嗎?使用左手或右手有分別嗎...

We sojourn in Indian married couple's home. Its thing for being grand, we had already beginning to discuss wearing clothes and table manners question a few days ago. Wear respect clothes, smooth chest reveal arm can accept <for the garment>, long sleeves jacket and trousers are the selecting of ' steady burst ', but can wear the slippers? We are invited to be guests at the home of an Indian couple. To make it serious, we had discussed those questions regarding appropriate clothing and table manner couple of days before. For the clothing, those with explosure in chest and arms are not acceptable (we actually do not have these types of clothing). We assume that long sleeve clothing and trousers are deemed fit. We wonder whether slippers are accepted? For the table manner, are there any gestures for sitting on the floor? Any knives and forks are provided? Is there any difference between using the left hand and the right hand......

We got invited to be guests for an Indian family. To treat the occasion solemnly, we have started to consider the issue of clothing and table manners several days ago. As for the clothing, it is not acceptable to expose the chest and arms (actually, we don’t have such kind of clothing).
