3 devided by 2 (x+8)= 6x?

Question is unclear.
Is it :-
(3/2) (x + 8) = 6x
3 (x + 8) = 12x
3x + 24 = 12x
9x = 24
x = 24/9
x = 8/3

if it is 3/(2(x+8))=6x

times both side by 2(x+8) and get

3= 6x(2x+16)

3 = 12x^2 + 96

0= 12x^2 +93

Do you mean 3 / [ 2(x+8) ] = 6x, or (3/2)(x+8) = 6x?
