Should I pay 300$ on ebay to buy a iphone1.0 8gb or wait for Iphone non-contract release? I know it will be much more than 199 and 299 if they really have the iphone 3g non-contract. Is iphone 2.0 much better than iphone 1.0? expect for 2g to 3g.

simple. If you going to use video calling alot then wait for 3G. If not go for 2G. Cheers

the non-contract 3g iphones r going to be $599 and $699!! if u dont mind being on att just sign a contract and get the 16 gig 3g iphone for $299. and even if u dont like it, its only $175 to terminate ur contract. $299 and $175 is a lot less than $599. if you really dont want to sign a contract then buy the first iphone for 300 and then upgrade it using the iphone 2.0 firmware.
