✔ 最佳答案
one
220 = 2x - 12x

220 = -10x
- 22= x
this is a linear equation as the x is to power one

Unless there is a sq missing, this is a linear eq so it can only have 1 solution

220 = -10x
x = -22
2008-07-14 5:31 pm
2x - 12x = -10x
x = -22

1 solution!!
2008-07-14 5:21 pm
220 = 2x - 12x
220 = -10x
x = 220/-10
x = -22 (one solution)
(answer A)

To solve this first you must cmobine the like terms in the equation (2x - 12x) then set the equation to 0.

220 = 2x - 12x
220 = -6x
220 - 220 = -6x - 220
0 = -6x - 220

Because this equation has no squared terms, there is only one x-intercept, which is also the only solution.

one solution x=-22
