simplify (6/x^2+4x+4)+(5/x+2)?

so far i've done
11/x^2+5x+6
11/(x+3)(x+2)
i stopped there because it didn't look like anything i could come up with would fit any of the answer choices.
here are the answer choices
a)((11x+12)/((x+2)^2))
b)((11x+22)/((x+2)^2))
c)((5x+8)/((x+2)^2))
d)((5x+16)/((x+2)^2))
please help!

✔ 最佳答案
/6+5(X+2)=5x+16
is the numerator
denominator is (x+2)^2
answer is d

Sorry to say that question is incorrect from line 1.
SHOULD be shown as :-
6 / (x² + 4x + 4) + 5 / (x + 2) which is completely different to what you have given.

6 / [ (x + 2)(x + 2) ] + 5 / (x + 2)

[ 6 + 5(x + 2) ] / (x + 2)²

(5x + 16) / (x + 2)²

OPTION d)

PS
Remember to use brackets----a MUST !

6/(x^2 + 4x + 4) + 5/(x + 2)
= 6/(x + 2)(x + 2) + 5(x + 2)/(x + 2)(x + 2)
= 6/(x + 2)^2 + (5x + 10)/(x + 2)^2
= (6 + 5x + 10)/(x + 2)^2
= (5x + 6 + 10)/(x + 2)^2
= (5x + 16)/(x + 2)^2
(answer d)

you're good it's the answer. Just let me add this for u

x^2 +4x +4= (x+2)^2
ok now:
6/(x^2 +4x +4)=6/(x+2)^2, so

6/(x^2 +4x +4)+5/(x+2) = 6+5(x+2)/(x+2)^2

6+5x +10=(x+2)^2

5x+16=(x+2)^2 see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so D= 5x+16/(x+2)^2

ur answer is D
good question tho,

find the common denominator=(x+2)^2
6/(x+2)^2 + 5(x+2)/(x+2)^2
(6 + 5x + 10)/(x+2)^2
(5x+16)/((x+2)^2) = d
