Solve using the quadratic formula:
3z2 – 8z + 2 = 0

z=8+-sqrt(64-24)/6=8+-sqrt40/6=
4+-sqrt10 all over 3

3z^2 - 8z + 2 = 0
x = [-b ±√(b^2 - 4ac)]/2a

a = 3
b = -8
c = 2

x = [8 ±√(64 - 24)]/6
x = [8 ±√40]/6
x = [8 ±6.32]/6 (approx.)

x = [8 + 6.32]/6
x = 14.32/6
x = 3.58/1.5
x = 179/75

x = [8 - 6.32]/6
x = 1.68/6
x = 168/600
x = 7/25

∴ x = 7/25 , 179/25

so
