這段英文點解?

"Taxi!"I shouted,jumping into a cab."Seventeen Swiss Chesse Center."
Minutes later,we pulled up to my editorial office.Oh,yes,I forgot to tell
you that I run a newspaper. It's called The Rodent's Gazette.
I took the stairs two at a time and burst inside. What a workout!I was boobed.
Maybe I shouldn't have canceled my membership at Rats La Lanne after all.
But before I could think about it,Mousella,my secretary, tacked me.

It should be 'Chesse', not cheese. This is a family name.

Cab means taxi.

Pulled up is an exercise. Here, it means that the guy need to walk upstairs like doing excercise..

Run a newspaper means that he is the boss of that newspaper publishing company.

What a workout means that, he found the stair climbing very exhausting...he was very tired.

Rats La Lanne could be a gym..so you can figure out the rest.

As you see, colloquial English could be troublesome for non native speakers. However, business English is normally conducted in standard format. As such, you don't need to worry about it that much.

But one has to learn colloquial English if he or she has to communicate effectively with native speakers.
