yes because if she is acting like they are her pups she will be able to produce milk for them like dogs and cats,or if she just recently had pups.

No, like any animal the female only produces milk when pregnant or after having young. If the mother isn't feeding the babies, it's up to you to do so- but the mother may be feeding only occasionally, like most animals. She won't be costantly with her babies and will most likely feed once or twice a day, and normally at night.

woman rats are VERY companies to mammary maximum cancers. you could desire to truly get her regarded at via your vet. each so often tumors could be bumped off earlier they get too great and bothersome for her. The maximum cancers many times comes back regrettably. purely asserting that if her nipples are bigger she could have tumors on her mammory chain. additionally, if thats the case, tumors can secrete fluids.

Only mice that have previously had babies can produce milk if not pregnant. You need to keep the mother with the babies ALONE I tried to breed with other females in the cage it is not good. If the mice kill 2 or more babies move the other females out. Also check to find out if any of the mice are in fact males that got her pregnant. Be very careful or you may have a baby massacre on your hands like I did once. If you move the others out and the mother does not take care of them, it is very possible, but there is nothing you can do the other females will just keep killing them all, but first observe if two more babies are killed move the other females out.

Oh course not! No mammal on earth can produce milk when they aren't pregnant! It's just like people. People don't produce milk all of a sudden right? You have to be pregnant and has just given birth to a baby. So your saying that the mother died right and there's no milk? Just give the mice some milk in a bowl. If that's not the case, i'm not sure cuz i didn't really get your details.
HOpe this helps.

If one of the other females has had a litter that was just recently weaned she may produce milk for this litter of pups but other than that no. You may want to find a mother with a small litter of pups that you could foster with. You would have to have the person who owned her mix all the pups together so that they all smelled the same though or she might kill the foreign pups. Other than that you could try hand feeding them. If you have any questions e-mail me.
