i think that's infatuation...u don't say i love you, u do them, make the one you 'love' feel that you really love them.

for me, love is something felt, not said. and it should be unconditional, meaning you don't expect love in return, you just do it because you feel like doing it.

like when i say, i love this question. you don't have to pick me for best answer, i just post my opinion and hope that it'd help you see love clearly :)

At 16 it is very unlikely for it to be love... I'm 16 and I feel for that..

Being a Christian myself.. I always loved that verse, I went with this guy and lost that special thing if you get what I mean... And I regret it so badly.. it was so easy to fall into that trap.

I think that at the age of 16 we should be staying away from boys and drawing close to God, because he is the one who trully loves us.

If he loves you he will care about your happiness first. If he just desires you he will care more about acheiving his own.

You have to be the judge which one it is. If he's just seen you on a casual basis it's probably a combination of infatuation and lust. You'll never know till you test his intentions.

You need to know him to know what he means but it's probably infatuation. Sometimes they say that because they are hoping for sex and think this will make you willing so watch out. Don't give in to it. He might be dangerous.

Love is putting the needs of the other person ahead of one's self. The only way you can know if this guy loves you that way is through time. But it most likely isn't even infatuation. If he is close to your age, it's probably lust.
