Some washing powders cannot be used in hot water because they may contain enzymes (different kinds of proteases). The enzymes (proteases) are made up of proteins, so they are likely to be denatured in hot water.
Wool and silk contain peptide linkages. The enzymes (proteases) in washing powder will hydrolyse the peptide linkages and damages the clothes.
When doing hand washing, it is advised to wear plastic gloves because washing powder is alkaline. This may cause skin allergy or even rashes in some persons.

It has protease,if it use in high temp.,it will denature!
