這兩句中,就只得第一句文法正確,所以必定是第一句好
牛津出版的”Practical English Usage”就指出advise, allow, permit和forbid這些動詞之後,如果沒有賓語(object),就用-ing形式,如果有賓語,就用動詞不定式。如:
I wouldn't advise taking the car─there's nowhere to park.

I wouldn't advise you to take the car.

還有advise也可以跟that-子句,如:
They're advising that children be kept out of the sun altogether.

所以,你的句子也可以寫:

I would advise that you (should) take a different approach
或 I would advise taking a different approach.


但句子越精簡越好,大約你也知道哪句好了。

Both sentences seemed okay, particularly the 2nd one. But, I would like to propose a slight change of wordings, eg:
I would like to suggest to take a different approach.

Both should be ok. I believe even "I would advice a different approach" is ok
But I personally probably would say something like:
"I would suggest consider a different approach"
