Step3) Square root both sides. X= 2.7

Is it 3 / (2x) or (3/2) x ?

Try
4/x + (3/2) x = 11/4
16 + 6 x² = 11
6x² = - 5
x² = - 5/6 which now looks "suspicious" due to - ve sign !
