我不能取回交了的那份部告

I couldnt get the report back which I submitted.

Note:
1) 那份部告 - 必須是 the report (指定的那份)
2) 不能取回 - 肯定是己試過而不能取回, so we must say COULD NOT.
3) handed in ? 在字典上唯一出現的解釋是: Blank (空白的...表格或試卷等等), 絕無submit (遞交) 的意思. ( no hard feeling, pals, just discussing)

I cannot take back the report I just handed in.

我不能取回交了的那份部告
There is no way that I can get back my submitted report.

那份佈告是 the report.
交回了的是已完成或已成過去，故可用現在完成式或過去式的動詞都可以。在這裡我選擇了後者。

又 TO HAND IN A REPORT 是那慣用語。意即經常的「交回」吧！
我們不用 TO RETURN A REPORT 的。
