First, does doctor 1 know that you're seeing doctor 2 and vice versa? If not, tell them!!!!!!!
And tell each what the other has prescribed! You could have a dangerous cocktail of medications!
Personally, I'd take the Lexapro. It's been a help for my husband who suffers with panic attacks, anxiety and depression. He's much more "even" now. It will take time to see if the drug is working for you. You should notice some improvement in a week or two with full effect coming in 4-6 weeks.
I'd stay away from the Zanax, that stuff is so addictive and has some terrible side effects! My husband was on that at one point and I think it actually made him worse, which it can do!
But please, communicate with your doctors and pick ONE doctor for medicating your problem and let all the others you see know exactly what you are taking. Some drugs when mixed together can kill you!
