i am a dance instructor in hk
in fact u can learn both
jazz is more soft, hip hop movement is more hard

noramlly u can choose introduction class
i will teach basic skills and teach u how to listen to music
the steps are easy but useful
u need to prastise always
my class is not expensive to join
