改善英文行動二十八. 希望大家盡力幫忙

I would like to study IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES, like America OR CANADA, because of following reasons.

First of all, I can study English easily BECAUSE I must speak English to communicate WHEN BEING OVERSEAS. My English may be not fluent at THE beginning, but I believe that I can master it in the short term.

我用BECAUSE取代due to, 因為due to 後面需要 noun / noun phrase
e.g. Due to repairs (n), the garage will be closed next Saturday.
由於維修的關係, 汽車修理廠將於下星期六關閉。

指明因為身處外地 (WHEN BEING OVERSEAS) , 所以一定要用英語跟人溝通。

Secondly, BEING 17-year-old, I should learn to be independent, looking after myself, finding a job to earn money and cooking myself so it is a GREAT chance for me learning how to be independent in America.

Although studying overseas need a lot of money, there are A LOT OF ADVANTAGES and it is “one stone two birds”. Thus, I think that is valuable (or WORTHWHILE).

Advantage (好處), 在此用法是 countable, 所以應該有s。
一石二鸟一般寫成以下情況
- I killed two birds with one stone and saw some old friends while I was in Leeds visiting my parents.
- One stone (and) two birds

At last, don't you think that HAVING SOME OVERSEAS FRIENDS is pretty cool?
