hii shopping in hongkong in beging of august?

Olympics games will soon begin in china @pekin.

Do you think this will affect hongkong, since I am planning on visiting hongkong on the 1st week of this august?

My mom been in hongkong to buy clothes for resale and she hasn’t found any clothes (dress chic and casual etc…) for big size people. By big size I mean like 1.60m and 70KG. DO anyone know any place ?

And also what are the best places to shop. For cheap clothes? For clothes with brand name ? especially for women?

But didn't they day that best period to do shopping in august since september will be winder season . there won't be lots of choice during september

HI, It's not easy to buy big size clothes in Hong Kong, but u can try : Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok and : Granville Road ,Tsim Sha Tsui. There are many outlet store. You can go there by MTR.

the Olympic games will not affect HK, but it will be VERY HOT in august.

Oh, did she visit north part of Fa Yuen Street? because the shops in south part of Fa Yuen Street is famous for selling sport gears and known as "Sport Shoes Street".
The clothing shops are located on north part.

I know there are few boutique in Argyle Centre selling big size clothes, you can see the slogan「S-XXXXXXXXXXXXXL」outside the shop......

if you buy electronic gadgets, go to Mong Kong. It is 6-7 stop eead from Central by going with MTR
