1句英文句子1個動詞?

與其說一句sentence(句子）得一個動詞，不如說一個子句(clause）得一個動詞，因為句子有簡單句(simple sentence)，有集合句（compound sentence)，有複合句（complex sentence）。所謂簡單只句，即句子並沒有出現連詞(conjunction)，所以簡單句子只有一個主動詞，如：
I am too tired to go.
而集合句，即由兩句或以上的子句組成，其中，以連詞and, but, or, so等等將子句串連起來。〔所謂子句，即文句裏，凡有主部(subject)和述部(包括動詞，與其它元素，如：受詞object，副詞與形容詞等）的一組子，如：He went up〕，如：
He went up, and I came down.
而複合句，簡單來說，就是以連詞if, though, when, till, as, that, 或關係代名詞who, which，或關係副詞where等將主要子句(main clause)和從屬子句(Dependent clause)連接起來；如：
I know that she is happy
This is the man who came here this morning.

I felt sad when i heard the news，就是用when將主子句I felt sad和從屬子句when I heard the news串連一起
而Tom had reserved the table before he went to the hotel
就是用了before將主要子句Tom had reserved the table，和從屬子句he went to the hotel串在一起。
所以，為了使自己更清晰，你大可以說，一句子句只可以有一個動詞，這就不會做成混淆
