the product of two numbers is 3200 & the quotient when the larger number is divided by the smaller is 2 .the numbers are:

let us assume larger number as 'a' and smaller number as 'b'

i.e.., a/b=2
---> a=2b -----(2)

substitute (2) in (1)

ab=3200

2b*b=3200

2b^2=3200

b^2=1600

b=40

now substitute it in equation (2)

i.e.., a=2b;

a=2*40;

a=80

therefore , a=80 and b=40

so, the two numbers are 80,40

Then,
