我去倫敦時搵到嘅資料， 順便比你：
The reason why the stonehenge looks not so good while you take the public transportation (bus) to there is because it is too close to see. the best view is to see them at the near by Amesbury Hill, 2.5km up A303 (Rt Name). 好似旅行團有去。

Please read the first three websites in my answer, you will know the detail info of stonehenge.

You can take a train from London to a town called Salisbury. Then take a bus there to Stonehenge. Day trip to there from London is very easy, and worth to go there.

But you cannot actually go near the Stonehenge, because it is being protected and you can only walk around it from a distance.

BTW, there is a 麥田圈 near the Stonehenge.
