sauce in chicken and brocolli?

i get chinese takeout sometimes and always get chicken and brocolli. does anyone know what that sauce is that its in, the chicken and brocolli and if its healthy or not.

It's a brown garlic sauce that probably has some soy sauce and possible oyster sauce. As long as the restaurant doesnt use too much oil, it's relatively healthy. It will be high in sodium unless they use low sodium soy sauce.

I would say oyster sauce..sorta brown with a really distinct flavor. Good to eat good for you.

garlic, soya sauce, oyster sauce and corn starch.

That's one of the most common sauce used in Chinese cooking (home cooking at least)

sometimes they use soya sauce,fish sauce, its ok and its not fattering its to give the chicken and vegetables a bit of flavour.
