"Back and forth"? $2,000 each. It depends on where you are flying from, but check Northwest, they're usually the cheapest. You have to book ahead of time to get that rate though. And that will generally cover one connecting flight to the major hub from which you fly out of to Japan.

Hotel? If they all sleep in the same room, call it $125/night.

Food? Multiply what it would cost in the States by 1.5 just to be on the safe side.

Absolute basic would be $150 a day. Average might be around $300-$400. With $600 a day you could stay in very nice hotels, eat in nice restaurants. Your question was a bit broad in scope. Hope that helps you plan things out.
