-4x > 1/11.....divide both sides by -4 and reverse sign

x < -1/44

4x < - (1/11)
x < - (1/44)

Yes, you can solve this by multiplication. Hence, by multiplying both sides by 11, you obtain:
-44x > 1
x > -1/44 or 1/(-44)
