Normally we do not use 'already' with continuous tense.

They were going to Causeway Bay when I woke (up).
當我醒來的時候, 他門己經在前往銅鑼灣途中.
It is better to say "They were on their way to Causeway Bay when I woke (up)."

they had aleady gone to causeway bay when i woke (up)
當我醒來的時候,他們已經去左銅鑼灣.
