If you don't like to spend any money for an AV ... so.. you can download the AVG Free version and... you can use a free Firewall and a Anti-Spyware such as Comodo and Ad-aware 2008 free version or windows defender or SUPERAntiSpyware or something like that...

Dear Tamas, Both are having its own benefits, Internet suit provides you an inbuilt local firewall, but if your computer is not connected with internet then use Anti virus only..., if exposed to internet then use Internet suite and block all unwanted services to protect from trojans and backdoors ...it prevent you from internet attacks also...
