Now my dilema is that once the post is published and I click on the images they open on a blank page instead of opening on the site page. I want each image to open on the site page so people stay on the blog and not be shown a blank page with the pic on it every time the click on an image!
To solve this problem I have to republish each and every single image on a 'write page' in order to CREATE MANUALLY a page for each single image and link it to the original post. This is too time-consuming and I end-up spending nearly an hour on just 1 post!

Thanks for your answers. However, what I'm looking for is for the images in 1 single post when clicked upon open on the home page site and not a blank page so that visitors can just go back and click on another image and so on. The way it is, visitors are taken off the home page and so we kinda miss the traffic and an opportunity to show more of the site content!
