centimeters is one-hundreth of a meter. a kilometer is a meter times a thousand. A millimeter is one-thousandth of a meter.To convert cm into km, take cm and divide it by 100 to find meters, and then divide by 1000 to find kilometers. To find millimeters from centimeters, take the unit and multiply in 10 years.

1 cm = 1/100 m (0.01 m) = 1/100 x 1/1000 km = 1/100000 km (0.00001 km)

It'll be easier if you draw a line.
Put Meter as your center.
Then place Decimeter on the left and place 0.1 or -10 on top of it. Then place Centimeter on the left of Decimeter. Place 0.01 or 100 on top. Millimeter is 0.001 or 1000.
Now, if we want to find out the value of 1 cm into mm, move 1 place to the left. that is equivalent to one zero on the end of a number. Therefore, 1 cm is equal to 10 mm.
The same as to the right side. Dekameter is 10, Hectameter is 100 and Kilometer is 1000. Now your line is complete.
