I want to create a shopping cart on my website where people can purchase things, how do you do this?

Try E-junkie.com they are popular for their cheap pricing plans and excellent service :)

They offer a free trial period for complete 30 days before you actually subscribe.

How sophisticated do you need the shopping cart to be and are you planning on having a lot of items? If this is your first shopping cart and/or you're not familiar with PHP applications, I recommend something easier to use, such as PayPal Cart or Shopify
