Step number 1: Bring all the "like" terms to one side
We generally bring the x's to the left and put the other numbers on the other side. Remember when you take stuff across to the other side, you have to change the sign..
So you will have:

-3x + 4x < 6 - 4
x < 2

There may be situations where you have something like this:
-x < 5
if you are solving for x...then you must divide the equation by -1 but remember that when you divide by -1 in an inequality...you always change the sign from - to + or from + to -

So the answer would be:
x > 5

Well thats justs just the tip of the iceburg with inequalities..
Good luck

4x - 3x < 6 - 4
x < 2..number should be always less thn 2 not even equal to 2 in this case then this equation is right otherwise it shuld be wrong

4 - 3x < 6 - 4x
4x - 3x < 6 - 4
x < 2

4 - 3x < 6 - 4x
Add 4x to both sides
4 + x < 6
Subtract 4 from both sides
x < 2

-3x<2-4x
x<2

solve for x on this
4 - 3x + 4x < 6 - 4x + 4x
4 + x < 6
- 4 + 4 +x < 6 - 4
x < 2
all x's smaller than 2 noninclusive.

take the -4x and switch it with the 4
if u take it to the other side it changes its + or -
u get 4x-3x<6-4
now just solve it out and u get
4x-3x<6-4
x<6-4
x<2
x will be smaller than two
