x+ x+2 + x+4=204
3x+6=204
x+2=68
x=66

Hi,

Even integers are always 2 apart, so if x is the smallest even integer, then the next 2 even integers are x + 2 and x + 4.

If their sum is 204, then:

x + x+2 + x+4 = 204
3x + 6 = 204
3x = 198
x = 66
x+2 = 68
x+4 = 70

The 3 numbers are 66, 68, and 70. <==ANSWER

Let the numbers be x, x+2 and x+4

( x ) + ( x + 2) + ( x + 4) = 204

3 x + 6 = 204

3 x = 204 - 6 = 198

x = 198/3 = 66

Hence the three nos are 66, 68, and 70

let the numbers be (x-2), x, (x+2)
then..
(x-2)+ x+ (x+2)=204
solving for x gives x=68.
