Even integers are always 2 apart, so if x is the smallest even integer, then the next 2 even integers are x + 2 and x + 4.

If their sum is 204, then:

x + x+2 + x+4 = 204
3x + 6 = 204
3x = 198
x = 66
x+2 = 68
x+4 = 70

then..
(x-2)+ x+ (x+2)=204
solving for x gives x=68.
