I think perpetual life will get boring at some point. My fears, regrets, anxiety, despair, and loneliness will not mean anything in perpetual life because tomorrow will ALWAYS be another day. I will always outlive my loved ones, even my great great grandchildren and beyond. It will get tiring someday. Living the same life indefinitely.

Yeah, I would choose to die one day.

Yes. Humans show emotions because they know they will die one day, thats why we take risks. If we were to live forever there would be no meaning to "life", so why live for nothing

Why should I? If you allow me, as I'm now, in that imaginary "indefinite", then I will never choose to end such a good & amazing life any day. Since I value my life & others too. Definitely your so-called 'indefinite' life would be a LIFE like the present one, agree? If so, why don't we end it in this present real life? Please do not bring the examples of 'committing suicide' by some cowards---either they are cowards or sick persons or escapist in a way. You're given LIFE to value it by your all positive deeds---not to end it for no reason. Being "Hopeless" is a matter of a certain 'period'---& period means: it has one beginning, one ending! So there is nothing to be hopeless for! Time will come to be hopeful. In your so-called 'Indefinite' life, there'll be indefinite TIME, Yahhhhoooo----to be hopeful & to enjoy life more & more indefinitely, right?

If I could live in perfect health, not age and have the money to travel and do everything I wanted to do, then I do think I would choose to live a very long time. I could see many things, learn many things, know many people. But, I think life would get boring after a while, so I would choose to end my existence.

No. If I could live indefinitely and with dignity, I would choose to be involved with the making of our society. Cause if I could live indefinity that would mean I could see things progress. Then I would have to be involved and not hide away in Montana like I always threatened to do. I may even make a difference with the attitudes and responses people have towards older people. which I think is so archaiac today. Everyone thinks they are old at 30, that is the mind set of people 100 years ago when people died at around 30.

One of Life rules is: calculate your coming days (which is limited for us) before you end your life.

definitely. when you've done everything you wish to do there's no more reason for you to stay.
life could be sinfully great. it doesn't matter if you lived it to the fullest or just wasted it, the point is, that its just a parcel of your journey that gets meaningless if you stayed with it too much. ^_^
